Innovative designed pilot plants
FH SCANDINOX supplies innovative pilot plants to a wide variety of dairy and food industries for a broad range of product applications.
All FH SCANDINOX pilot plants are characterised by flexibility, food safety, easy maintenance and high quality.
For safety reasons, more and more producers choose to develop and test the products on their own pilot plant before large-scale production is initiated. A small-scale test facility enables you to focus on research, development and testing without disrupting the existing production. The pilot plant also makes it possible to conduct teaching and training of R&D employees and process operators.
Investing in a small pilot plant is investing in the future, as pilot plants offer a space to try out new ideas, improve processes, develop new recipes and test out new raw materials in combination with new production methods.
Close co-operation and strict confidentiality
FH SCANDINOX configures the pilot plants individually and is always in close co-operation with customers to ensure that the pilot plants meet the specified criteria and needs. We acknowledge our responsibility as a manufacturer towards our customers and have many years of experience with big international clients. We work with our own in-house engineers and experts to determine which type of equipment is optimal for your needs.

Pre-manufactured and fully tested
The FH SCANDINOX pilot plants are all pre-manufactured and skid-mounted on stainless steel frames or in stainless steel cabinets equipped with the necessary process equipment. The process equipment can be small tanks, plate heat exchangers, homogenisers, pumps, valves, instruments, control panels, pipes, fittings etc. The pilot plants can also be offered electrically pre-wired and carefully tested prior to shipment.
To ensure that the equipment is working according to the specified requirements, we test each pilot plant in our factory and have the facilities to supervise the Factory Acceptance Test before shipment. This gives the certainty that the equipment received is exactly as specified.
FH SCANDINOX also offers to commission the pilot plant in your own pilot test centre making it possible to optimise the performance of the equipment and also provide training in operating the equipment.
